Learn the Ropes – Bondage Basics – Template
About the event
Admission until 2:15 PM ▼ ENGLISH BELOW ▼
This workshop series teaches the safe use of ropes as well as the necessary knowledge about risks and their avoidance. It builds on itself in parts but does not have to be attended completely. However, we expect the stated knowledge to be present. You can bring your own ropes or borrow them on-site.
This workshop is primarily aimed at beginners who want to try out ropes. We will cover material science and safety, focusing on the most important knots in bondage, the square knot, and thus Single Column Ties (tying the rope to one arm/leg/etc.) and Dual Column Ties (tying two arms/two legs, one arm and one leg, etc. together).
Since the workshop is aimed at beginners, no prior knowledge is necessary. If you already have ropes, feel free to bring them; we can also provide some for the workshop.
We also recommend registering with a partner. If you wish to come individually, please send a short email to the workshop leaders to clarify that we can form pairs. We will design the workshop so that you can switch during the workshop.
There is no dress code for the workshops; we recommend comfortable, not too loose clothing. Sportswear is very suitable, for example.
