Creative Open Mic Night at The Proud Place
About the event
Bring your poems, comedy acts, or stories to Creative Open Mic Night at The Proud Place! ### Creative Open Mic Night at The Proud Place
Fancy a night of poetry, comedy, stories and a bit of creativity? Come
along to The Proud Place for our open mic night, hosted by local artist
Skye Lilly.
We’re inviting the community to get up and share something with the
room. It could be a poem you’ve written, some spoken word, a funny
story, a bit of stand-up or something completely different. We don't
mind signing, but we're asking everyone to limit their performance to 3
minutes to make sure everyone has time to perform. Have time left over
at the end? You're welcome to perform with us again!
Never done anything like this before? Don’t worry! You don’t need to be
a performer or have any experience. It’s a chance to give something a go
in a safe space, have a laugh and make some new friends.
If getting up on stage isn’t your thing, that’s fine too. Come along,
grab a seat and enjoy watching everyone else have their moment.
Whether you want to perform or just come along for the evening, we’d
love to see you there.
****Come as you are, bring a friend if you like, and join us at The
Proud Place for a night of creativity and community.****
Tickets are on a pay-what-you-can basis andact as donations to the The
Proud Trust.
