Much Ado About Tango Workshop
About the event
Join us for a theatrical role-switch workshop with Much Ado About Tango! **Please note you will need to book a ticket for this event on
Eventbrite. If you're viewing this page on the London LGBTQ+ Community
Centre website, scroll to the bottom to book.**
This event aims to provide a safe space for LGBTQ+
participants to enjoy tango, and is for LGBTQ+ people only.

Never tried tango? Curious about switching roles? Already dance and want
to find your unique flair? This one's for you.
Join us for a playfully serious take on tango that welcomes all bodies,
backgrounds and experience levels. Whether you're stepping onto the
dance floor for the first time or looking to explore the other role,
we'll introduce you to structures and show you how to make them your
own.
Through guided exercises and a little theatrical mischief, we'll play
with gesture, gaze, tension and timing, discovering how much expression
can live in a single movement.
The workshop will follow an accessible, trauma-informed teaching
approach, with clear verbal and visual demonstrations, adaptable
exercises, and opportunities for participants to work at their own pace.
