About the venue
San Diego Eagle is the city's leather and bear bar, at 3040 North Park Way in North Park, a short ride from the Hillcrest gay scene. The crowd is mostly men into leather, gear and bear culture, plus locals who like a casual, unpolished bar…
“Stopped in on a Thursday night while visiting from out of town. It was pretty quiet with only a couple other people there, but the bartender was incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. We had a drink and then headed to another spot. I would definitely recommend going on a busier night for more energy, but overall a welcoming vibe.” — Chance Perry, Google
“Great neighborhood bar. The bartender was super friendly and engaged us in conversation.” — Todd, Google
