Rehoboth Beach Pride

Rehoboth Beach Pride is real, but it is newer than most people assume. It was started in 2023 by Sussex Pride, a southern Delaware LGBTQ+ group, and runs with Gay Women of Rehoboth. It is separate from CAMP Rehoboth, the town's long-established LGBTQ+ community centre, which runs its own events such as Women's+ FEST in spring and Sunfestival on Labor Day weekend.

Pride takes up most of a week in mid-July. There's an opening night, an interfaith service at MCC Rehoboth and parties around town. The main event is a free daytime festival inside the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center on Saturday, with workshops, performers, nonprofit and artisan vendors, and a raffle for unhoused LGBTQ+ youth in Delaware. A ticketed evening show follows the same night, and a closing party is held on Sunday.

The 2026 edition ran from 15 to 19 July. No attendance figures have been published. Sussex Pride has announced the 2027 dates as 15 to 18 July 2027, with the festival day at the Convention Center on Saturday 17 July.
