About the event

Welcome to the report launch! NB! Registration required. Register here! In June 2026, FRI published a survey asking how queer people are doing in Norway today and how the development for queer people in society has been perceived over the last five years. 1773 people have given their answers. FRI is now looking forward to sharing the findings and welcomes you to the launch of the report "It Feels Like the World is Going Backwards". Date: September 23, 2026. Time: 08:00 – 09:30. Physical location: Mariboes gate 13, Oslo. The event will be held in Norwegian. Program: 08:00: Doors open – mingling and report distribution, with light refreshments. 08:30: Presentation of the main findings from the report, by FRI. 08:45: Comments on the report findings from Skeiv Ungdom, Skeiv Verden, Støttegruppa 25. juni, and others. 09:00: Conversation between State Secretary Trude Storheim (confirmed by the government) and Stephen Adom on the findings of the survey and the way forward. 09:30: End. We invite a broad yet concrete conversation about the findings in the report and the way forward for the work to improve the lives and living conditions of queer people at a time when queer rights are under pressure worldwide. Welcome to the report launch! NB! Registration required. Register here! Support FRI's work – all year round! Become a member!
