We were NOT told that the pool or restaurant would be under renovations. Nothing on the website and no communication at check-in about this. We were disappointed when we walked to the pool to see it was empty and completely under construction. Why would you not communicate this? It's in the middle of summer. We paid almost $300/night to stay at a hotel that did not have any amenities. So disappointing.
Unfortunately, this hotel did not meet our expectations, especially considering the cost of approximately $225 per night, totaling $1,333 for our six-night stay. After doing extensive research before booking, we were disappointed to learn upon arrival that there was no breakfast included, no restaurant, and no amenities available in the building. When we checked into our room, there was no toilet paper or ice bucket provided. The front desk staff were friendly and quickly supplied these items, which we appreciated. However, the room phone was not working. To be fair, the hotel appears to be fairly new, and it seems not everything is fully operational yet. However, this should have been clearly communicated during the booking process so guests could make an informed decision. One of our biggest concerns was housekeeping. During our entire six-night stay, the bed sheets were never changed. At this price point, we expected a much higher standard of service and attention to guest comfort. At this time, I do not believe charging over $225 per night is justified given the lack of amenities, unavailable services, and housekeeping issues. For anyone considering booking this hotel in the next few months, please be aware that many expected amenities may not yet be available. The staff were polite and helpful, but overall the experience did not provide the value we expected for the amount paid.
No pool
Paid $200 for one night. The amenities listed during booking were unavailable and we weren’t aware of that until arriving at our stay. Our room had no hot water or water pressure, we told the front desk. They moved us to another room where the same issue occurred, as well as having exposed marked wood unfinished near the window. We mentioned the issues again to the front desk and were told we would be contacted. We heard nothing from them (this was almost a month ago). I have called and messaged them multiple times and have heard nothing. After going through multiple routes, it took Expedia contacting them directly for any for of communication to take place. Today the hotel said they were too busy to contact me but would give me $50. Very disappointed.
Newly renovated rooms. Property may be under a complete renovation (along with its attached sister property) but is very clean and is a very quiet place to stay. I must note that most hotel amenities are currently unavailable due to this massive overhaul. We were informed of this prior to our stay so it was non-issue. Overall, beds were extremely comfortable and rooms were a fair size. Staff were amazing and check in was a breeze. We will definitely stay at this property again! We cannot wait for the waterslides to open!
