Pride Niagara

Pride Niagara is the Pride organization for the Niagara Region. It is a nonprofit founded in 2010 and based mainly in St. Catharines. Its festival is a series of events around the region in late May and early June rather than a single big day.

The 2026 festival ran from 30 May to 7 June. It included a kickoff party with Drag Race star Jimbo at the Meridian Centre, flag ceremonies in Thorold, the Niagara UNITY Awards and a closing party. The outdoor festival Pride in the Park at Montebello Park was dropped in 2025 after talks with the city on sharing costs and safety failed. We couldn't confirm whether it returned in 2026.

Niagara-on-the-Lake only gets the occasional event, such as a drag brunch. The 2027 dates hadn't been announced when we checked.
