The hotel is very well located, with several restaurants nearby (I recommend La Espetada). The room is clean and comfortable, but needs some improvements: - more hooks for hanging bath towels (the ones there are above the toilet and you can only hang the towel folded) - there is no place to put the suitcase
Cramped room for 3 people. Breakfast with few options.
Overall, a very good experience. They had or resolved everything I needed. The included breakfast is simple and homemade, but they have several options, from fruit and bagels to customized typical dishes and pancakes. The building is well-insulated from outside noise and is located in an area with a lot of nightlife, but the rooms don't insulate well from inside noise. This wasn't a problem on our occasion. It has a good location, with both indoor and outdoor parking. It meets almost all the standards of a 3-star hotel.
There's a very serious problem with the hotel. The location and service are excellent, but around 4:00 or 4:30 in the morning, a bread vendor comes by and his loud whistle is incredibly annoying. It's very disruptive; we're all trying to get some sleep in the cool morning air, and that loud noise wakes us up. If the receptionist doesn't come out right away, he keeps whistling for about five minutes. Management should look into this. We all deserve to rest, and they need to put a stop to this. It's especially noticeable in the rooms near reception or right next to the street. They should talk to him and ask guests to stop making so much noise and deliver their bread to reception.
