Never “glamped” before. Absolutely loved it. Host was kind and gracious. Place is so charming. Very quiet and relaxing but close to shops and good food. Highly recommend

Hillary's place is nothing short of spectacular. An enchanted, thoughtfully curated space for solo travelers and couples alike, La Boheme met all of my expectations and beyond. Don't wait, book immediately. It's a magical, beautiful spot with plenty of room, privacy, and innovative and creative additions that blew my mind. The substantial "glampscape" is a product of Hil's artistic vision in real time. So many hidden little details found within the property during daytime or under the twinkly-lit dusk and nighttime hours. All items are readily available as noted in the listing. Plenty of bath/shower and facial toiletries from which to choose. Comfy bed with dual heated mattress covers for couples wanting different sleeping temps. Despite temps getting hot during the day, simply securing back the canvas tent flaps enables a nice breeze to blow through, with an efficient, commercial type fan to enhance cooling while also providing soothing white noise. Remember to keep the mesh underlayer of the tent zipped on both sides to prevent bugs, though not really an issue during my stay. Fire pit available for use and logs provided. There are no check-out cleaning tasks or to-do lists before departure. This place is a remarkable respite for reflection, romance, and an incredible experience in east LA. Tons of things to do within walking distance and hollywood attractions 25-30 min away. Went to Hollywood Palladium and Bowl for shows during time there, as well as a quick, one-night jaunt to San Diego to see friends mid-trip. Go!

We stayed for 4 nights at this amazing little oasis within the hustle and bustle of L.A. The owner, Hillary, is the most caring and loveable host you will ever find. From her great tips about restaurants to the complimentary jar of HomeMade! jelly, which is delicious. All in all the stay was more than we could have hoped for. Hillary thank you for all your great care and help. If we visit L.A. we will sure be back!

Spent 2 nights with son while visiting colleges. Hillary is a wonderful host--super responsive, flexible and accommodating to our schedule. She even called an excellent local restaurant to place our takeout order for us! I just wish we'd had more time to lounge around the beautiful grounds (several very pleasant sitting areas) and chat further with Hillary.
