The Eagle Boston on Tremont Street is the South End's leather bar — an institution in a neighbourhood better known for its restaurant scene than its leather community, but one that has maintained a loyal and specific clientele for decades. Part of the Eagle Bar network with locations in Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, and other US cities, the Boston Eagle shares the brand's identity around leather, masculinity, and community while maintaining an independent local character. The bar is on Tremont Street at the southern edge of the South End's main commercial strip, within walking distance of Club Café and the Fritz Lounge. Regular events include leather nights, bear evenings, and programming around the IML circuit event calendar. The South End location means the Eagle Boston serves a somewhat different clientele than the Ramrod/Machine complex in Fenway — more locally residential, more embedded in the South End's daily gay life.
