Boston Marriott Copley Place

$500 per night and you have to pay $5 to drink still water amd $12/day for wifi. Cannt control air conditioning.

Terrible experience. Hotel decided to cancel my booking on their own without telling me. Marriott HQ still showed the booking as active and when they called the hotel manager to investigate, they got hung up on. Marriott HQ offered a different location but by this point I was done with Marriott. Found a much better hotel for less money a block down the road.

Great central location. Public parking at the Copley mall garage was $45 overnight. The staff was amazing. Particularly Mae at the front desk was kind, welcoming, and gave our small kids a little toy. Great views from the higher floors.

Felt secure with the card key, Very efficient elevators with no floor buttons! :)

I visited for a seminar and a concierge Victoria just was so good to me. I asked her if I could walk to the garden or if it was too far- she gave me a map, a description, suggestions for what I might like to see on the way and literally her card to call her if I got lost. Talk about feeling supported! Thank you Victoria, I hope you always feel the same back from people, what a lovely hotel

Julia at the front desk..I love her. She is such a delight..Her Customer Service is 10 star...also our room attendant Xue..she was so sweet and kind. We were there for 4 nights..after first night she knew what we liked and always greeted us and had our room serviced perfectly..What outstanding service these and others provided..Definitely a memorable stay.

Great location right in the middle of Downtown and Fenway so easy access to both at Copley Place. 30 minute walk to almost anywhere, 15 minute Uber. It's in Copley Place which is a massive mall so you have direct covered access to things like View Boston, restaurants, stores and more. Got a corner room which had great views. Bed was very comfortable. A CVS on the other side of the bridge in case you need water/drinks/snacks. Only downside is if you're a Gold Elite they didn't offer and welcome gift and would not offer the 2pm late check out which for a Wednesday seemed off, but to date I haven't had a single Marriott offer that for Bonvoy members so wondering if it's just a scam at this point.

Destination fees…. >$40 per day in destination fees after tax. You “get” $20 back each day at the chain restaurant downstairs but every item starts at $20 and no one wants to eat at a chain restaurant when visiting Boston. The feeling of being nickel and dimed when checking in leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

I would like to share our 5 star experience as we checked into the hotel today. We were greeted by warm and smiling Winnie at the front desk ! Her title is guest experience expert and WOW did she deliver in every way. I run my own company and I notice exceptional customer service when visiting many businesses around the world. Marriott has a true gem having Winnie as part of their team. Cheers to you Winnie:) Keep up the great work, Mark & Lissette
