This was my first time returning in years. Parking has always been impossible. I returned and was pleasantly surprised. Our server Kate S, was attentive to our needs. She made our stay enjoyable. The cook made our meal presentation desirable. I will return based on our dining experience and well preparedness of our food entrées!
One of the happening places in the heart of Old Town - Gold Coast of Chicago. Great ambiance and music. Service is fast, the waitress was very attentive and made good recommendations. We had The German Pilsner Beer and a Kona Beer from Hawaii. We ordered Wisconsin cheese curds and since it was almost a Kitchen Closing time, we had to leave before ordering anything else. But would be back soon.
Went here for St. Patrick's day lunch -- the atmosphere was very enjoyable and the food was especially delicious. We tried the Rueben sandwhich and the house made veggie burger.
Fireplace Inn in Chicago has really gone downhill. What used to feel like a solid neighborhood spot now feels poorly managed and unwelcoming. The service was genuinely horrible. Inattentive, slow, and surprisingly rude even when the place wasn’t busy. Definitely not the experience it used to be, and I wouldn’t recommend it anymore.
10/10 recommend this spot!!! The staff is friendly and professional and the establishment is super clean in the inside. They even have Mango Cart on tap which is a HUGE plus for me!!!
