Capital City Pride (Hartford Pride)

Capital City Pride is Hartford's Pride day, and since 2026 it has been held in June. For years Hartford's Pride ran in the fall. Then the newly founded Hartford Pride Center took it over and moved it. Local reports trace Hartford Pride events back to the early 1980s, and the current Capital City Pride committee formed in 2013.

The 2026 edition on Saturday 13 June opened with Pride on Pratt, an all-ages street fair on Pratt Street from 11am. A free concert at Mortensen Riverfront Plaza and an afterparty at Chez Est followed. WFSB reported hundreds of people downtown. The 2027 dates hadn't been announced when we checked.
