This place is a gem! Highly recommend. It's a beautiful boutique property in a quaint little town. Lots of rockhounding options a shirt distance from the property!

I took my grandkids crystal digging and booked a room here. I have traveled a lot and it takes quite a bit to impress me. I was impressed!! Beautiful room, immaculate, cozy, everything you need. We loved it and we will return!!

FANTASTIC place

Our room was beautiful! We arrived to a care package for our doggy and thoughtful touches all over the room, including a gorgeous soaking tub with candles. Check-in was seamless and they were quick to respond when we needed anything. Also, their backyard area is stunning and an awesome place to grill out or simply relax. We spent the morning snagging coffee up the street, the day mining for crystals and perusing crystal shops and the evening soaking in our tub and enjoying the local eateries. We will definitely be back!!

They provide most everything you could possibly need. Even detergent to do laundry. The TV has the ability for you to login to your streaming platform. It was mostly quiet and we walked up the street to food. (Pizza and Mexican). If you are accustomed to sleeping in full dark you will need to bring a sleep mask as the light from the corner city lamp eliminates the room even with curtains. We stayed in the wavelight suite and it gives a European feel with much attention to details.

This place was perfect! Close to the mines, beautiful room, every detail thought of and provided for. We'll definitely be back!

Look no further for the most glamorous rock hounding spot there is! The beds are COMFY. The furnishings are absolutely perfection. The town is quaint and inviting. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance and the washing station is an absolute blessing. Highly recommend this gem. ;)

Excellent charming boutique accommodation that is perfect for visiting the area for a few days. It is quiet, cosy and a great price. Well worth the stay.

Reserved 3 weeks out and it was very easy to find. The room and bathroom were SPOTLESS and PRISTINE! My wife loved it. Back yard with a firepit and tools to take to dig crystals with (no need to buy any tools), When in the area, we will be back!

Let me say that as soon as you open the door your blow away. We stayed in the diamond suite which was amazing. The bathroom was amazing. Who knew you can have a 5 star hotel experience in a small town. Yes the mining is fun and great but this place is a gem on its own. The private garden they provide gives you the comfort of home and they provide basically everything you need in not they are a ring or message away. This is a great getaway for couples for sure. They give you so much info and the tips. Mind you they also let you borrow their own equipment for mining as long as you return them. Tv has every streaming app which was a plus but the decor inside will amaze anyone The only disappointment was we didn’t stay longer. Let me say we will be back. The price is right the comfort and hospitality is beyond more than anyone would expect. This place is a hidden gem. This has been a phenomenal experience and the cats outside are sweethearts and friendly. Town is quiet and friendly and a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the best things in life like this place. We were left speechless

Crystal washing station in the yard and tools to borrow. Walking distance to a great Mexican restaurant. Looking forward to going back to the Rockhound Boutique Hotel!

The Rockhound is a gem in every sense! The rooms are immaculately clean, and the beds are comfortable, making for a restful stay. The rooms have a beautiful charm and attention to detail even in the bathroom tile. The AC and heater were easy to use, with a remote so our room stayed at just the right temperature. Being our first time to hunt for crystals we appreciated the thoughtfulness of the tools you can borrow for hunting. And upon our return the hotel has designed a perfect rock washing station, with hose and cleaning implements perfect for cleaning up crystals after a day of exploring. Overall, the Rockhound delivered comfort, convenience, and unique charm. Highly recommend for Crystal hunters and travelers alike!
