About this place YVE Hotel Miami

YVE Hotel Miami is a mainstream hotel on Biscayne Boulevard in downtown Miami, listed as gay-friendly, not as a gay venue. It has rooms and suites, a casual American restaurant and meeting space, and Bayside Marketplace and the Metromover are close by. Reviews are mixed, averaging 3.7 across more than 5,600 ratings, so read recent ones before booking. Downtown is practical for the port, Brickell and the Kaseya Center, but it is not where Miami's gay nightlife is: most of that is across the bay in Miami Beach, plus a few bars in Wynwood and the Design District, all a short ride away.

Terrible experience, specifically with their billing department. I booked this hotel via Airbnb and was told upon arrival the incidental deposit was double what the listing described. The room had a terrible mildew smell and was dusty. The hot water also was basically nonexistent. After my stay, I noticed extra, unexplained charges on my card. I have been trying repeatedly to get an itemized receipt and explanation, but no one in finance ever answers the phone or returns my calls. Extremely unprofessional and borderline fraudulent. I’ve already reached out to my bank to dispute the charge. BE AWARE!!!!

Rooms are mid but clean, we got three. One was fine the second one the air kept turning off also with no water pressure and in the third room the bathtub kept backing up. Stayed for two days, the first day was fine and now that we are on the second day this is the absolute worst day of it all. The elevators are down and we on the fifteenth floor. The stairs have no ventilation its hot, muggy with disgusting slimey hand rails and a very slippery concrete which was very dangerous. I slipped twice and luckily caught myself! Husband had a straight panic attack from limited air luckily our one out of three rooms was on the eleventh floor or it would have been a medical emergency and when we tried to call the front desk to see if there is a employee service elevator just for him to go down, they wouldn't answer the phone. So if there is ever a medical emergency please dial medical services first so at least someone knows there's a situation going on in this death trap hotel

We stayed at the YVE while waiting for our cruise. The hotel room was hot, the bathroom was tiny, the elevator was broken the next morning and we had to go down 12 flights of stairs. I would NOT recommend this hotel with bags. Do NOT stay here!!!

I stayed here while attending a wedding nearby and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. The only thing I wished it had was an on-site spa or salon. As a wedding guest, I needed my hair and makeup done before the ceremony, and finding a beauty professional in an unfamiliar city wasn't easy. Fortunately, someone recommended the VÉLOURA Beauty on Demand app, and I was able to book a makeup artist who came directly to my hotel room. It was incredibly convenient, helped me get ready stress-free, and made the entire wedding weekend even more enjoyable.
