What reviewers say

Guests frequently praise the beautiful location, delicious organic breakfasts, and the attentive and welcoming host, Carolla. However, a significant complaint involves a lack of communication and flexibility regarding power outages, with one guest being charged for a stay impacted by a noisy generator.

A perfect location within walking distance to Piermont and Tallman Park. We stayed for two nights and Carolla was very attentive to our needs. The breakfast was delicious, and the attached garden and stream are very picturesque! If you’re visiting the area skip the Airbnbs and spend your weekend here!

A lovely place to stay. Very comfortable, clean, and a good location, walkable to town. Carolla is a wonderful host who goes above and beyond. We enjoyed meeting her. Breakfast was delicious.

No power. Ran on a generator and couldn’t get through to the phone number in the morning to ask that the generator turn on for a shower. Asked for a refund of the second day (didn’t come back), but no flexibility. charged full rate for two days

A very disappointing experience! The owner failed to inform us before arrival that the property lost electric power and to offer an option to cancel or reschedule the trip. The electricity was supplied by a very noisy and unreliable emergency generator. It made our stay so unpleasant and uncomfortable, we left after one night. However the owner refused to refund our payment. Clearly the priority of this business is the financial gain, not the comfort and satisfaction of the customer.

Sometimes you find a "find". Stumbled upon this searching for something near Sleepy Hollow. Room was incredibly furnished and welcoming. Breakfast was all organic ( no menu) Eggs, non flour based English muffin and no sugar marmalade. All delicious and I'm not a plant based guy. Coffee served with coconut sugar? Only 2 small drawbacks, but not dings from my standpoint. 1 - parking spaces are small and tricky to get into 2 - Waze and other GPS programs tend to send you down the most horrific side streets to get here. Take out a map (yes, a map) and map your own way in. Okay, cheat and map it by examining streets on a mapping app. Do not use the Broadway to Ash St route. The owner, Corolla was fun and appreciative. Want to go back for a long weekend in the spring or fall next year.

This was such a lovely place to stay a few nights with my partner and my dog. Corolla is so sweet and we really enjoyed the breakfast she prepared for us. From scrambled eggs, goat cheese omelette, waffles, English muffins, and fresh coffee, everything was delicious! Location is nice and quiet, conveniently located to the places we were looking into exploring during our stay. Thank you Corolla!
