Bizarre is a bar, restaurant, and gallery in Bushwick that acts as an anchor for Brooklyn's queer scene.
You’ll find Bizarre at 12 Jefferson Street, right in the thick of Bushwick, a neighborhood that’s become a magnet for artists and anyone looking for a night out that's a little less buttoned-up than Manhattan.
It’s an easygoing, multi-purpose space, which means you can grab dinner, get drinks, or just wander through the art on display. This combination—food, drinks, and a gallery—is a common thread in Brooklyn’s LGBTQ+ venues, where socializing often comes with a side of culture.
Like many queer-focused spots in New York, the vibe is open and friendly. Think of it as a community hub, but one where the art rotates and the cocktails are flowing. Check bizarrebushwick.com for what's on the walls and what's on the menu.

What a beautiful experience, more pricey than I expected because I went in blind but after seeing the quality everything was understandable. I was hoping they’d have more plus size items but some vendors were very inclusive for sure. I enjoyed myself overall and would give the experience 8/10, p.s go with a good friend😊
It's great for people who like Hand crafted art and vintage clothes and well as jewelry and coins, if you have any other interests, I wouldn't recommend, but if you do, it's a cool spot to go to.
Great selection! Very nice items, a large, cool and interesting range of bargains and designer items to be found.
Mid selection, high prices
Ni e little market, we've been to it a few times. Hit or miss, lots of repeat vendors, but occasionally you find something.
Pretty good little flea market.
