Just as advertised

The front desk experience was very disappointing. The staff member who assisted me was rude, didn’t greet me, and refused to provide a paper receipt when I asked—something I’ve never had an issue with at other hotels. There were also billing inconsistencies. At check-in, the pet fee wasn’t included, and later I was charged separately. The hotel charges $75 per dog, which felt excessive, especially compared to other hotels I stayed at during my cross-country trip. I have two small Yorkies, and this ended up being the most expensive hotel of my trip with the least accommodating service. Additionally, I was unable to get a final receipt, which is something every other hotel I stayed at provided without any problem. Overall, the lack of professionalism and poor customer service left a very negative impression. 04/24/26-04/25/26

Very basic room as expected for the price no microwave no coffee in the room. The room had a musty smell no screens on the window and really is just a basic room if you want to sleep, you can hear people in the hallway when walking but otherwise the room was quiet basic continental breakfast hard-boiled eggs, bagels, yogurt, cereal, and packaged oatmeal. They did offer coffee, which was not good at all so went to the local Starbucks instead juice available and water fountain on site. If you’re looking for no-frills cheap option, not a bad place to stay.

This is an okay hotel. The room was nicely cleaned. Housekeeping was friendly. The front desk staff could take some hospitality lessons from the housekeeping staff. The location is convenient to the base and downtown. It's VA Beach near the base so don't expect the nicest vacation spot. If you want a budget friendly hotel, Spark will work.

Horrible attitude from the lady working overnight.

We had a great stay. The hotel is clean and safe location. The breakfast was simple but good. And want to add that Nellie, at the front desk is amazing, she is so friendly and accommodating yet still professional, which can be rare to find these days

Stayed for one night traveling through Norfolk. Walked just down street and enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Captain Groovy Grille. As for the hotel: - Cons: Checked in and first room smelled so strongly of bleach we were nauseous and window wouldn’t open to air out. We switched rooms immediately. Shower only got lukewarm and the shampoo & Conditioner containers were empty. Front desk woman at check out the next day was extremely rude. Pros: We were able to have our dog in room. The front desk woman when we checked in was extremely nice and accommodating when we wanted to switch rooms. She tried to give us free snacks to apologize.

The hotel was exactly where I needed it to be for my activities for the weekend. I was there. I had a reservation, but when I got to the hotel, there was limited rooms so I picked a room on the third floor away from the elevator. I'm not sure anyone had been in this room for a while because the tub stopper was on the side of the tub surrounded in red stained what looked like hard water stain And dark hair around the stopper There was also long brown hair on the tile floor in the bathroom and some substance to the right of the switch in the bathroom. I'm not sure what it was. I wasn't about to touch it thank goodness for night lights. The girl that checked me in was pleasant The girl that checked me out, made a note of what I had to complain about, but offered nothing I didn't stay for breakfast because I wasn't about to eat anything that was made in that building I did enjoy my weekend so the hotel allowed me to stay overnight. And there was plenty of parking (by the way, I have gray hair so this is definitely not my hair)

Disappointed with the service. I had to leave my stay a day early due to the storms back in January that would have otherwise extended my trip by up to a week due to airline closure. I didn't want a refund for the one night, just for it to be credited to my next stay as I plan on being in the area again in March. Instead of working with me, I just got a flat no, and was told to call Hilton corporate. Corporate said the only people that could give a courtesy is the hotel them selves. They were within their rights, but I am a Hilton Diamond member of about 3 years now, I stay with Hilton regularly for business trips so I was hoping for more.

WOW! Where do I start? Everything was absolutely amazing. Open parking lot (yes it is included too) and amazing receptionist Nelly. When we walked in she greeted us after a long drive, provided us with options of cookies, and provided us quality customer service care while checking in. Everything was explained and the lobby was beautifully homey and clean. I enjoyed that the elevator was close by and the room was spectacular. Best beds, comfort rooms, my name on the TV (big plus), the shower spacious and comfy. What more can you ask for? Definitely recommend this hotel for a nice chill stay. Breakfast also included :)

Very clean room and very polite service

Location is close to the airport and other attractions. The staff was not very friendly and often no one was there to man the front desk. The room was never cleaned even though they came in to give us new towels. We were there for four nights. The fridge in the room makes a lot of noise. The room is very small with barely enough room to walk between the bed and the desk/tv stand. There is only one small table between the beds with barely enough room for a CPAP machine and phone chargers. The breakfast consists of yogurt, cereal, bread, bagels, and boiled eggs. For the price, it is not worth it.
