About the venue

Val's opened in March 2026 at 605 South 3rd Street in Queen Village. It gave Philadelphia its first dedicated lesbian bar since Toasted Walnut closed in 2021. It's a cocktail bar and community space for queer women, trans and nonbinary people and their friends, with a small kitchen…

“Loved Val’s. Reminds me of the old days where everyone is accepted and movement happens. I went to school in the area. Will definitely go back” — Teal Beatty, Google
“I LOVE Val’s and I love lesbians! The drinks are amazing and the vibes are fantastic. I love that there is a bar area, a dining area, and an upstairs area for dancing and music.” — Theodora Miller, Google
