If in Topeka, I highly recommend this hotel! You are walking into a piece of history! Decor is wonderful, rooms are clean and comfy. Restaurant and bar are worthy of trying. Every encounter with staff was wonderful!!
Room was very nice. Spacious and clean. Quiet. Desk staff was friendly though provided some incorrect information. The restaurant is only ok. Food quality not worth the price point. Saturday farmers market is walkable.
Cyrus Hotel had everything I needed: hot shower with strong water pressure, quality line of shower gel/shampoo/lotion etc, comfortable aesthetic room, and great wifi to work. It's also in walking distance to the state capital building.
Cool hotel and was upgraded upon arrival. Disappointed the restaurant was closed but found food elsewhere.
Thank you Cyrus!! We had a ‘CELEBRATION OF LIFE’ event for my Mother last weekend in Topeka, at the Cyrus. I could not have asked for a better weekend. The staff was amazing, and the event was seamless!! They took care of EVERYTHING…. And the beautiful rooms were a bonus!! Again, our heartfelt thanks!!! The Merillat Family
Amazing Stay. Nice Staff. Very Accommodating. Modern Room With Great Views. Only downside was having to go up 8+ levels in the parking garage just for hotel parking.
If you’re staying in Topeka, and want “Best of Best” year after year, this is a prime location across from the Topeka Yoga Network. Named after Cyrus K. Holliday, who moved the Kansas state Capitol to Topeka (landmark site of Brown v. Board, ending school segregation in 1954), this tribute is filled with luxurious details like BATHE neroli toiletries, Keurig coffee, an in-room steamer, and beautiful views of the city skyline. Dean, Amber, and Allison were knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming, improving my stay without feeling intrusive. The 24-hour gym is also lean but fully-equipped with LifeFitness equipment and includes water bottle filling stations for healthy bodies on the go!
