Every time we have our VFW state meeting here, the staff takes great care of us. Update June 2026 staff is still hustling to get it done. Upgrades are slowly happening under the city ownership.

City center sounded to me like it would be close to downtown or at least walkable it's really not. At check in I asked about the 10$ food voucher for breakfast that it said I would get. The one checking me in said I would need to find something stating I'm supposed to get because they aren't informed on their end. It took some looking but I found it went back to the front desk and the manager was there so I showed them and they took my phone and looked at it as if I was trying to scam them or something. I said we'll surely u get this alot I would imagine right. They acted like it was weird for some reason then walked over and grabbed me a 10$ coupon thing and said guess i need to make more of these thanks for giving me something to do. Clearly it's an all the time thing they deal with and why would I even know about it if it didn't say it when I purchased my room online.Every other place does free breakfast these people want 14$ per person for a very basic buffet like u would find anywhere for free so yes I wanted my 10$ off.The wall paper in my room was peeling back off the wall too a large section like glue it down or something.I would recommend any other hotel in the area.

Cons: Found some cleanliness issues. Small piece of food on the floor. Spider on the window. Some kind of fluid mark on the blanket. Tub either dirty or stained. Sore water had poor pressure and not very hot. Location isn't by very many food options. Little proxy given the fact that breakfast is $12 and not included like most places. I've machine on my floor was broken (7th) Pros: In house bar. Nice staff. Very proactive waiter during breakfast. Elevators are quick. Shape and layout of the building makes it simple and easy to get to the rooms. Wasn't very busy on a Saturday. Move working A/C.

Check-in was very slow. The receptionist was very nice, polite and competent, but it seemed as if the reservation system was slow. The rooms need updated. The bottom of the toilet lid was discolored. The bathtub looked nasty. The vanity needed repair. The room had a musty smell. The location was a short walk from the venue I had an event at.
