Parent Meetup

Welcome to the physical social meetups for parents or close relatives of children or adolescents who are trans or gender non-conforming. We invite you for a chat for new acquaintances and familiar faces. We share experiences and help each other with questions and answers. There will be simple refreshments and a short round in the group on expectations and wishes, and we hope it will be nice to meet. If you have children or teenagers (7-17 years old), they can be at the creative workshop at SKOKS in Grønland, Margit Hansens gate 3, from 5 PM to 8 PM while you are at the parent meetup. These meetups at SKOKS for children/youth are every Thursday. See more at: SKOKS At the meetup, there will also be a review of the most important findings from the report: “Adult transgender persons' right to healthcare.” The report shows that the right to healthcare for adults does not seem to be fulfilled, according to Lund et al., who have written it on behalf of PKI.
