Over six months ago, we reserved the family room for a wedding. A few days before check-in, we were advised to bring a portable air conditioner and a fan from home due to the heat. And it was hot, 36 degrees; we had one bathroom for 5 adults. One of the beds (a stretcher) was truly unsleepable because you were lying on metal bars poking through the mattress. The room was very dated. We reported this to management, but they couldn't do anything for us. We didn't receive an apology either. Breakfast (28 Eur pp) was dramatically bad. The buffet was empty and was barely refilled. It was all very disappointing. I have never experienced anything like this before. My advice: if you ever have a party at the priory, book accommodation somewhere else.
