Scandic Aarhus City

Scandic Aarhus City is at Østergade 10, just off the Strøget pedestrian street in the centre. Scandic lists 228 rooms (25 of them accessible), the steakhouse L'øst, solar panels on the roof and free loan bikes; the top-floor rooms look out to the ARoS rainbow and the harbour. Checkpoint Aarhus's testing clinic is in the next building, and GBAR is about ten minutes' walk. It's a mainstream chain hotel, not a gay venue.
