The atmosphere and the diversity of the people mean you blend in and get into the spirit of things with ease and speed. Whatever people say, if you go there, you know WHY you're there. That being said, I still want to point out one major drawback that will prevent me from ever going back: the appalling attitude of the waiter (bald, sorry for the term, but I don't know his name). He never smiled, never said a kind word. It would seem that when you work in a business, all these things are, all things considered, major and essential, right? Furthermore, I remember witnessing one of these behaviors during my previous evening, which I found deeply disturbing. Let me elaborate: This waiter confronted two boys who had locked themselves in the restroom, claiming it was strictly forbidden to enter in pairs. I don't see why, given that we can enter any of the stalls in the establishment in pairs (or even groups?), it amounts to exactly the same thing. Anyway... So, after having thoroughly reprimanded them and pointed them out under threat of expulsion, a little later, guess who I see entering those very same restrooms with a boy? The waiter himself! If you want to enforce these so-called rules, you should apply them to yourself, sir, and therefore set an example. Which you didn't do. So, because of this waiter who seems to be playing a boss role that doesn't suit him, I won't be going back there, and I certainly won't be suggesting it to my friends, all because of him, much to my regret.
On vacation in Marseille from April 29th to May 3rd, I decided to try this bar with my partner as soon as we arrived! When we got there, we learned there was a dress code, which amused us. The cover charge was €10 including a drink, which wasn't excessive. So we went in and were greeted by the bartender, Adam, "the bald one" (not meant in a derogatory way, just to clarify who he was). This bartender (Adam) is very friendly, smiling, kind, and empathetic (it's rare to meet someone like him in gay bars). The atmosphere was good, the place was clean, and the clientele was well-mannered! As a result, we went back every night because finding a place like this where you feel comfortable is rare. Besides the cruising aspect, we also went back for Adam's professionalism and kindness! and his colleagues! Thank you, we'll be back…
Absolute freedom is fantastic, fantastic, fantastic! For all those who love a nice cruise and all that, I highly recommend it. Excellent food, excellent chef, lots of different drinks. Top-notch bar, only friendly people and good-looking guys everywhere.
Great for those who want no-nonsense sex. A great hookup environment with a great clientele. Recommended
We came here as a couple, we were thinking it's a liberty bar, but this is gay bar. So, we didn't go in. If you are heterosexual couple, you don't need to go here. But if you are male gay couple, you will like this place
Great atmosphere, perfect service, thank you Adam and Fabrice
