Rennes Pride – Marche des Fiertes
About This Event
The Marche des Fiertés in Rennes is Brittany's biggest Pride; the 2025 march was the 31st. It's coordinated by Iskis, the city's LGBTI+ centre, and the tone is political: the 2026 slogan was 'Face aux violences : queer multi-discriminé·es unissons-nous !', roughly 'against violence, queers facing multiple discrimination, unite'.
The day is built around the Esplanade Charles-de-Gaulle. An associative village opens with stands, a sexual-health and prevention area, a queer market, food trucks and a water bar; speeches follow; the march leaves at 2pm, loops through the centre and is back around 5pm. The evening continues with an After Pride and the Noz Pride party ('noz' is Breton for night).
Practical: Rennes is about 1h30 from Paris by TGV, so it works as a day trip, though staying over lets you do the party. Brittany weather in June can turn fast; bring a layer.
In 2024 the march drew about 12,000 people according to the prefecture (15,000 according to the organizers); 2025 estimates ranged from 8,000 to 15,000 depending on the source. The 2026 march took place on Saturday 20 June, and we couldn't find a turnout figure. The 2027 date hadn't been announced when we checked.
