About this place ISKIS, Centre LGBTI Rennes

Iskis is the LGBTI+ community centre for Rennes. It was founded in 2001 as the Centre Gay et Lesbien and has been at 6 rue Saint-Martin, in the Parc des Tanneurs, since 2018. The centre runs drop-in sessions (permanences), discussion and support groups, cultural events, HIV-prevention work and school-awareness programmes, and several other local associations are based there. It also organises the Marche des Fiertés, Rennes' Pride march. If you are visiting, it is the most reliable source for what's happening locally, including groups and events you won't find on bar listings. Drop-in times change, so check iskis.org first.

Honestly, the atmosphere is... INCREDIBLE. We're really well received and we feel so safe. As a trans woman, I immediately felt comfortable, and Iskis has truly changed my social life, even though I'm naturally very shy. Thanks again to everyone ❤️ (we're not cisphobic, it was just some frustrated guy whining, as usual)
