About this place Granville Hotel

The Granville is a long-established hotel on Meagher's Quay, facing the River Suir in the middle of Waterford city. Rooms are traditional and well kept, there's a restaurant and a bar on site, and the front rooms look out over the quays and the harbour. It's a mainstream hotel, not an LGBTQ+ venue, but the location is hard to beat: the Viking Triangle, the Mall and Plunkett Station across the bridge are all a short walk away. Guests rate it 4.5 on Google from about 2,700 reviews. During Pride of the Déise in late May and June, book early.

My wife and I tour Ireland. It was many years ago I was here. Enjoyed all of Ireland , the people, places. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The country near the coast has some great small towns to see.

We had a one night stay here and it was a lovely evening. The room was large clean with air con the beds were comfy the bathroom was good. We dined both in the evening and for breakfast and the food was also very good. We were entertained with a little irish music in the evening which was again a brilliant night

I would argue that the carvery lunch here is the best in Ireland. An outstanding hotel in every way. Possibly the best hotel you will ever stay in or visit. Complimentary parking really tops the whole experience off.
