About this place Secret Encounter

Secret Encounter is a gay pub on Calle Sant Roc in Benidorm's Old Town, run by the people behind the long-running Brief Encounter. It is a traditional pub rather than a show bar: no drag, no stage, just a cosy room, fair prices and staff who chat. The crowd mixes village regulars with returning holidaymakers. It opens every day from 17:00 to around 01:30, which makes it a good first or last stop on an Old Town night. The bigger cabaret bars around the Santa Faz and Alacant streets are a couple of minutes' walk away. Google reviewers rate it 4.9 from about 80 reviews.

Lovely friendly bar. Bar staff were so welcoming and friendly. Aircon hit perfectly and tunes were good. Only stopped for a couple as we were on a bar crawl, but would make it a spot to revisit on my next holiday.
