Seacroft is a great little B&B, the owners are very friendly, there is plently of choice for breakfast. Its in a great location, right in the centre of Lytham st Annes, yet it is very peaceful. We thorougly enjoyed our stay and will be back.
Hidden gem! Spotless room, great breakfast, free parking. Great location with easy access to beach, shops and buses. Lovely friendly staff. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
Soon as we arrive at the B&B, we saw the host Georgina & Jamie who were really welcoming. Free parking in their private car park but you need to be there at the time you said you'd arrive and I don't think it's guaranteed. We got a good spot. Jamie helped take the luggage to are room. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. It's 2min from the beach and 5mins from the shops. Good side view of the beach from the room window too. We were in Room 8. Excellent location we will definitely stay here again as it's lovely B&B .
We have stayed at The Sea Croft Guest House 3 times now, Georgina and Jamie are excellent hosts always happy to help. The whole house is top notch couldn’t fault it was so ever 💯 clean and the breakfast top notch. Always ask if everything is ok. Couldn’t meet nicer people. The WFI works perfectly better than mine at home. We never want to go home. Can’t wait for our next visit, hopefully very soon 😊 Thank you Georgina and Jamie for everything 😊.
The Seacroft is a lovely, friendly B&B, perfect location for the beach and st annes square and on a bus route for easy access to both blackpool and lytham. Georgie is very accommodating for all guests whether visiting for business or leisure its the perfect location Rooms always cleaned to the highest level, WiFi is available on all floors and breakfasts are the best around
Another great stay at the Seacroft. Georgina and Jamie are excellent hosts, really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. Breakfasts are excellent with a really good choice, my husband particularly likes the pancakes! It's a great location with buses to Lytham and Blackpool at one end of the street and the beach at the other. The centre of St. Anne's is just a short walk away. Highly recommended.
The Sea Croft B&B is very clean, in a good location, with comfortable beds and welcoming hosts. However, several comforts were missing during our stay: • CONNECTIVITY ISSUES: Despite the website’s ADVERTISING of "free guest Wi-Fi"/"high speed broadband", our 2nd-floor room had zero signal or 4G. We were told this has been a persistent issue for 11 years! • COLD ROOM & DAMP TOWELS: The room felt cold upon arrival with damp-feeling towels and no heated towel rail. Because the heating was on a fixed timer, we had to use two extra blankets every night to stay warm. • INFLEXIBLE BREAKFAST DINING TIME: A 9:00 am – 10:00 am breakfast window is quite late; even after requesting an earlier continental option, the best offered was 8:55 am. • SPACE & ACCESS ISSUES: The "Executive" label felt ambitious for our double/twin room's somewhat cramped size. Also needed to be mindful of the rather steep stairs, limited parking on site and lack of availability on the road. Summary: Perfect for a "digital detox" in the summer, if on the 2nd floor, but needs more flexibility and better utilities. Careful reading of the Sea Croft’s Terms & Conditions is also recommended. N.B. In response to the owners' comments below, ALL our concerns detailed above were raised with them during our stay, particularly in relation to the absent Wi-Fi, the coldness of our room and the late breakfast window. The owners confirmed that there was no Wi-Fi or even 4G on the 2nd floor and we also informed them that it was impossible to join an alternative network from this floor after they provided an unhelpful QR code. No remedy to our raised concern about the coldness of our room was offered. No self service or “grab-and-go" breakfast option was offered when requested. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It is disappointing to read a further defensive response to the genuine concerns we raised during our stay and in our review. To clarify, these issues were not based on subjective "personal expectations," but on objective service standards. Advertising a modern essential like Wi-Fi while being aware it is inaccessible in certain rooms is a breach of Consumer Protection Law regarding misleading descriptions. Furthermore, adequate heating and appropriately sized "Executive" rooms are industry standards, as is the flexibility to provide a simple continental breakfast earlier than the 8:55 am time offered. When considering these failures, alongside the owners' apparent reluctance to take full accountability, it is clear that my initial 3-star rating was overly generous.
