Host is very friendly. Very nice room and good breakfast. Little bit noisy at night (from the street)
I had a lovely stay at Le Petit Palais in Buenos Aires end of March 2026. Unfortunately Gilles was not there but Ode was an amazing host. Lovely breakfast every morning, lots of travel tips and information. She put me in touch with Andres who showed me the Tigre Delta in his boat. A highlight of my stay in BA! She also pointed me to Fogón Asado where I had my last and best dinner in BA. She checked in with me everyday and made me feel very welcome. Loved the 3 cats too! Hope to be back one day!!
I've already had the pleasure of staying at Le Petit Palais, a place that truly makes you feel at home. The host is a special person, capable of making every detail unique and conveying a rare and authentic welcome. This time, unfortunately, he wasn't present during my stay, but I was pleasantly surprised by his colleague Ode, who with great commitment, dedication, and attention managed to offer impeccable service. And, as a good Italian (and therefore quite demanding!), I can say I was truly impressed. Last but not least, the owner Gilles, returning from a very tiring journey, still found the time and energy to wake up and come say goodbye to me before my departure at 4 a.m.: a gesture that speaks volumes about the humanity and care that characterize this place. Perfect location and delicious breakfast. If you don't feel at home here, I really don't know where else.
Excellent place and service!!!!
My husband and I spent a lovely week at Le Petit Palais. The house is beautiful, with 2 shady rooftop terraces and many glorious plants. The location is convenient to Palermo, Almagro, and Recoleta neighborhoods, with many good restaurants, several buses and 2 subway lines close by. We enjoyed the lavish breakfasts, with a different fresh-baked treat each morning--and the conversation with fellow guests and with dear Ode and Santiago, Gilles's thoughtful friends who were filling in for him during his recent short absence. I had worried about the lack of air conditioning, but the verdant internal courtyard, high ceilings and fan kept our room perfectly cool. Highly recommended!
