Le Petit Palais

Ideally located, tastefully furnished, and close to bars and buses, Le Petit Palais is a unique hotel that we wholeheartedly recommend. The bedding is comfortable and the breakfasts are delicious. Everything is homemade: the bread, the pastries, the yogurt, the jam—a real treat! They speak French, which is an added bonus. The hotel's real strength lies in its hospitality. Everything is done to make you feel at home. In the owner's absence, Ode, who has lived in Buenos Aires for over 20 years, was wonderful with his advice and his dedication to ensuring our stay was a success. A place not to be missed.

Excellent stay at Le Petit Palais, great location, comfortable rooms, and the owner's incredible style. We had the pleasure of Oda's service; she was very friendly and explained all the activities to do in Buenos Aires, along with a map to help us find our way. We found Le Petite Palais to be a beautiful quiet home in a fantastic central location for a trip to Buenos Aires. The home has huge character and just seeing this alone is special. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast served each morning exceptional. Gilles the host is very hospitable and helpful, and made us feel welcome and completely comfortable. I had an amazing stay at Le Petit Palais! This boutique townhouse is full of charm — from polished wood floors, wrought iron window decor to exquisite art and vintage skeleton keys. The owner was incredibly welcoming, baking fresh sourdough, croissants, and homemade jams and yogurt each morning. He also gave me a detailed insider map of the best restaurants in Buenos Aires, which was invaluable. The space is made even more delightful by three adorable, well-behaved cats. Every detail made my stay special. Highly recommend this unique Buenos Aires bed and breakfast experience!

Disastrous. I made the reservation through the website. They sent me a booking code, but when I called the hotel to confirm, the person who answered (with a French accent) simply told me I couldn't have booked because the hotel was fully booked. They didn't even bother to verify my booking code and told me it was a mistake. The service from that person was appalling, as was the hotel's for allowing a reservation when they had no availability. Luckily, I called before traveling, otherwise I would have encountered this situation once I arrived.

There's a lot of noise on the terrace from the gatherings they're having, and the music is loud.

I had a wonderful stay at Gilles! :) Gilles is a gold mine of tips on Buenos Aires, and I highly recommend asking him about the places to eat and things to see. I loved my room - the bed was so comfortable! The room details were wonderful - I loved the vintage wardrobe and mirror. Room was super clean, and I had room service every day of my stay. What I liked the most was a small community of guests - it had this home touch. We were meeting at the breakfast and very often ended up having evening plans together. For a solo travel, that was just nice. The neighborhood is safe and has so many nice cafes and restaurants:)

We loved to stay at this place! Gilles, the owner is super helpful. He recommended some great restaurants and places to visit! We went to a few of the restaurants he suggested and we were always impressed. The location of the hotel is great as well, and the rooms are very comfortable! We loved it and will for sure go back.
