Courtyard by Marriott Lake Buena Vista at Vista

I made a reservation at this hotel through Expedia, but I accidentally selected the wrong dates. As soon as I realized the mistake, I made a new reservation with the correct dates, only about 2 hours later. I am currently waiting for the refund since the correction was made immediately after noticing the error. This is the email I received from the agency: Hello, We’re following up regarding your request. Request type: Refund Itinerary number: 72074734965773 Property name: Courtyard by Marriott Lake Buena Vista at Vista Centre After contacting the property, they’ve decided to uphold the original cancellation policy and have declined the waiver request. We understand this may be disappointing. Hotels often have strict policies in place, and unfortunately, there’s nothing else we can do in this case. We know this is disappointing. We always try to advocate for flexibility for our travelers, but our suppliers often have strict rules and restrictions around their bookings, and there's nothing more we can do in this case. Nasty 🤮 nasty 🤮 nasty 🤮. Old

I recently stayed here for my mother's birthday, and unfortunately, the room we had was quite outdated. The bathroom door was falling apart at the bottom, and there was no blow-dryer, which is a pretty standard amenity.To begin with the server was sitting in a place not visible to customers and I had to walk up and ask if she worked there. Our food was brought in to go boxed even though I said we would be eating outside with disposable silverware that was a spoon fork for pasta. I had to get again and ask for actual silverwear. The margaritas were very very sweet and it was a sad experience for us. As We went to the oasis to grab dinner as we were pretty tired and it was 84 dollars for two people and we couldn't even eat it at the time. It was pasta Alfredo and a burger with two margaritas including cheese sticks, while the server was kind enough to find a slice of cake for my mom's birthday it was just not the best service. Even though the food was not the best we figure to save it for the next day as we would be back from the parks late and then as we returned we realized the mini fridge doesn't even work. I had to get again and ask for actual silverwear. . As we tried to get rest our room faced the parking lot and we were disturbed by vehicles backing up with the loud noise and cars arriving late you could hear everything. Instead of being relaxed, we were sleep-deprived. The button on the remote were so hard to push as it was outdated. I will not be going back ever again. Not worth it.

Had a wonderful experience staying here last November on a trip to Disney world. Shuttle to the parks was convenient and on time, the credit for the hotel cafe was a nice bonus (pastries and coffee were excellent), room was clean and quiet, and staff was very kind and accommodating. Overall this was a wonderful hotel experience and I’d highly recommend !! Edit: Stayed here again in January 2026 and the hotel was once again wonderful! Shuttles were on time, quick, and efficient. Booked a package through Disney and our Disney passes were available to us right at check in. Room was clean and quiet. Staff was very nice and when I called that our body wash had run out, it was replaced while we were out during the day. Highly recommend if going to Disney!

I was scammed at this hotel. I had already paid the resort fees and taxes through the Booking.com website, but the hotel charged me twice after my stay ended. I sent an email and they didn't reply. They are not honest.

It is wonderful budget friendly option

You should have high expectations of a Marriott Courtyard hotel when it comes to cleanliness, hygiene, maintenance, etc. This hotel is comparable to a local bed and breakfast motel. A shower curtain, old clothes from previous occupants, rusted faucets, and curtains drenched in daylight are a few points to keep in mind. The breakfast is abysmal. Even the rats wouldn't eat this.

Excellent place. Great price, exceptional service, amazing pools and movies at night by the main pool for the kids.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 night a year ago, found the hotel to be priced well and clean. This week we stayed with our son for a family vacation for the week. Room was ready early, which was excellent. When we got to the room, the lock didn't work and maintenance had to come repair it. Once finished we started unpacking and found the room safe and light in the kitchenette did not work. Last night while using the bathroom I found a cockroach. Very displeased and nervous about what may be coming home with me. Will not stay here a third time.
