About this place Sushi Zushi West Village

Sushi Zushi West Village serves Japanese food with a Latin American twist on Dallas's McKinney Avenue. It's a place for sushi fanatics, sure, but also for people who just want to try something different. The kitchen mixes Japanese methods with flavors you might not expect, so the menu goes way beyond your typical California roll. Dallas has gotten better about welcoming LGBTQ+ travelers to its restaurants, and this is one of them. Come for a date, a casual meal with friends, or even alone. They want everyone to have a good time. And since it's in West Village, you can walk around before or after dinner. That part of Dallas has a lot of shops, other restaurants, and things to do. You can see the whole menu and make a reservation at sushizushi.com. They focus on making sure every person who walks in has a good meal, which makes it a safe bet for LGBTQ+ travelers looking for somewhere decent to eat.

Good sushi for the price

The sushi is so overpriced for what you get. The sushi was bland without much flavor. If I had bought grocery store sushi, I would expect this. I would not expect this at a sushi restaurant in Dallas charging high prices. My boyfriend, who never likes to waste food, could not finish the last two pieces of his roll. The service was also pretty slow. We went before the dinner crowd on a weeknight and it took awhile to get our food, although the appetizer did come out fast. The workers all seemed nice, which is why I am adding an extra star. Walked out after spending close to $75 dollars and was very dissatisfied.

The rating says it all- poorly run with very unprofessional management. Don’t waste your time going here When we arrived an hour after placing our to-go order over the phone, we discovered the girl over the phone forgot to enter the order. The manager was unapologetic, rude and didn’t take any ownership of their mistakes.

Terrible service. Standing there for 15min and no one care to take us to the table. Won’t be there again.
