The Hawaiʻi LGBT Legacy Foundation is Honolulu's leading 2SLGBTQIA+ nonprofit and the organiser of the city's largest community events. It produces Honolulu Pride each October — the parade down Kalakaua Avenue and the free festival at the Tom Moffatt Waikīkī Shell — as well as the long-running Honolulu Rainbow Film Festival each July at the Hawaiʻi Theatre. The Foundation also hosts the Rainbow Chorus of Honolulu and year-round programming that celebrates Hawaii's MVPFAFF+ and māhū communities alongside the wider LGBTQ+ population.
