IGBO Annual Tournament

Kansas City will host the IGBO Annual in 2027, a tournament and conference that's been running since 1980. It's the yearly get-together of the International Gay Bowling Organization, an umbrella for LGBTQ+ bowling leagues. The city last hosted in 2006.

Bowlers will compete in singles, doubles, and team events, with separate divisions for different skill levels. You'll also find educational seminars, the General Membership Meeting, and social nights. Hundreds of bowlers and allies from across North America are expected to show up.

The 2026 Annual took place in Denver from 14 to 17 May. For 2027, Kansas City has the gig, with dates set for 19 to 23 May. As of now, venues and the full schedule are still being hashed out.
