Avoid this hotel at all costs. My boyfriend and I checked in around 8pm on May 28th after a long drive. VERY deceiving photos online. Our initial room was in terrible condition: dated, poorly maintained, no cell signal, no water pressure, broken soap dispensers, and a broken AC. I requested a room change. The clerk, Sandi, claimed only one other room was available, two queens, due to renovations. This second room smelled heavily of smoke and was even worse as far as maintenance and had yet another broken showerhead even worse than the other room. Because we were told no other options existed, I went back to ask about their refund policy. Sandi replied with an incredibly disgusting, unprofessional comment: "We are not a pay-by-the-hour hotel." She was clearly insinuating that I was a prostitute right to my face. Right after making this harassing comment, she "found" a perfectly functional King room that she had previously denied having. I was shell-shocked by the disrespect that it took a minute to sink in. Not only did she withhold a good room that would have prevented this entire headache, but she verbally harrassed me in the process. When I confronted her about the comment, she doubled down, condescendingly repeating, "We're just not that type of establishment." No apology was given. If a male clerk said this to a woman, he would be terminated on the spot. Sandi should be fired, point blank. I can't imagine that I'm the only person that she has made comments to the way she said it with so much boldness.

Decent stay. Rooms were pretty clean. Leak stains on shower roof looked pretty nasty. Convenient mini fridge and microwave in the room were nice. Check in & out were easy. Hot tub was nice as well.

This was the only hotel in the area we wanted that said they had queen beds. My husband and son are over 6ft tall so they need that length. They do a simple cold breakfast here. We personally love the Halfway house up the street and are there most days (definitely recommend it). If you're looking for a simplistic hotel (that's cheaper than most around) and don't mind not having the extra like most hotels you're looking in the right spot. This is the 3rd time within 15 years we've stayed here and will be back when we go again. Oh, and I do like how they have "maid service" daily. Most places I've stayed at do not offer this anymore.
