I went to his restaurant, Lemon Cafe, and my family and I had Iftar there during Ramadan. The selection was somewhat nice, but not everything was good; I would have preferred it to be better.
**⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Family Stay with World-Class Dining!** Our recent stay at Dusit Thani Makati was nothing short of fantastic, especially traveling as a family. We booked a suite, and it was beautifully appointed—spacious, elegant, and immaculately maintained. The absolute highlight for us was having **two bathrooms** in the suite; it was a total game-changer that made getting ready in the mornings completely stress-free. The hotel is incredibly **kid-friendly**. The staff went out of their way to be welcoming and accommodating to our children, striking the perfect balance between a luxurious environment and a warm, family-oriented atmosphere. For food lovers, you don't even need to leave the property. The dining options are top-tier, featuring Michelin Guide-recognized restaurants right inside the hotel. Both **Benjarong** (authentic, elevated Thai) and **UMU** (premium Japanese) served absolutely phenomenal, Michelin-caliber meals that were a major highlight of our trip. Finally, you cannot beat the location. It is incredibly convenient, situated right beside **SM Makati** mall for easy shopping and entertainment. More importantly for a family, there are **convenience stores and a drugstore just steps away**, which gave us great peace of mind knowing all our daily essentials were within arm's reach. Highly recommended for anyone looking for luxury, convenience, and spectacular food in the heart of Makati!
I had high hopes for the Gaeng Massaman Nuea, especially with my recent experience with their melt-in-your-mouth beef kare kare at a similar price point. Sadly consistency is not an ingredient in abundance with Dusit Thani's in room dining service. Although the curry sauce itself was excellent—rich, creamy, aromatic; the beef was an absolute disaster. The chunks of beef were so tough and leathery they were, in a word, inedible! Every bite was a workout for the jaw, and after several attempts, I simply gave up. If you're looking for something to break your teeth, strain your jaw, or spoil an otherwise enjoyable meal, this might be the perfect choice. Very disappointing. Many are your options; pick something else.
Wow I love Taho (a sweet tofu pudding)! It reminds me of my childhood☺️ Well done, Chester the Taho man in Dusit Hotel Makati👍
I am a regular guest at this hotel and often stay here for work, but the front desk service speed is consistently disappointing. Check-in and check-out usually take up to 10 minutes, which feels too slow for a business hotel. This morning, I waited around 5 minutes and the staff still did not seem close to finishing with the first guest. This is not the first time I have experienced this. For a business hotel, guests move fast and their time is valuable. The hotel should consider opening more than one counter, adding self check-out kiosks, or simplifying the pre-authorization process. The room and location may be fine, but the slow reception process really affects the overall experience.
Our stay at Dusit Thani Manila was wonderful. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and genuinely supportive throughout our visit. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and cared for. Their outstanding hospitality made us feel like royalty. we were truly treated like queens. We were also very impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel. Our room was always spotless, well-maintained, and refreshed every day, making our stay even more comfortable and relaxing. Thank you to the entire team for making our experience so memorable. Highly recommended! 👑✨
