Bivio Beach

Bivio Beach lies at the western approach to Rijeka near Kantrida, a wooded shoreline with a promenade and a pebble beach. Alongside its everyday use as a swimming spot, it is known within the gay community as a cruising area, with the tree-lined paths behind the beach active in the day and into the evening in the warmer months. Croatia is broadly tolerant and these spots are long-standing, but they sit in public space, so discretion and respect for other visitors are expected.
