Simple, small room. No air conditioning, the flat-screen TV is about 20 years old, the mattress is okay. The room is difficult to darken. Parking costs €25 per night, street parking is €3/hour from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, then it's free. Security is zero. A delivery driver showed up at 1:15 AM and woke me up...outrageous! Bed hygiene is extremely poor. They stuff a pillow into a cover that can't be closed. As a restless sleeper, the cover comes off easily. If this happens to every guest...disgusting!
We couldn't stay at this hotel. When we checked Airbnb, a room was listed as available for 275 euros for the dates we specified, but 15 minutes later, when we went to the hotel and asked for a room, it suddenly disappeared from Airbnb and we were told it cost 1000 euros per night. We are not tourists; we wanted to stay here because we couldn't stay at our own home due to a fire. They abandoned us with a baby and a dog. I do not recommend it.
Unfriendly staff, poor communication, and despite a confirmed booking, no room upon arrival. After a 6-hour drive, I had to find another hotel in the middle of the night. Absolutely disappointing. Not recommended.
Unfortunately, this was not a good experience. Unfriendly staff, poor communication, and unprofessional treatment of guests. I cannot recommend this hotel.
It's clean and centrally located. I'm satisfied.
Its no 5 star hotel but it's ok. The room was clean and maintained, the beds were reasonable and the shower was good. My only complaint would be the noise - the walls are paper thin and it's next to the Penny loading area so it can be loud. Location is good, short walk to KaDeWe and Nollendorfplatz U-Bahn
The hotel is alright for the price and the location, as it's near Kurfürstendamm, however the rooms are a bit outdated. You only get a single key, and I don't think you can request another one, so if you forget that key in the safe (which you use to lock it) then you're locked out. The soundproofing in the rooms could be better, as I could hear the people in the other room opening and closing the doors a lot. I know this next part is not the hotel's fault, but the lack of soundproofing and the very loud birds outside are a big downside. I could hear the birds all night, as they were screaming. I think if they implemented better soundproofing, it would be fine.
