Hotel am Schlosspark
Visitors often praise the friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, and a decent breakfast with fresh orange juice. However, some guests find the hotel dated and overpriced, noting a lack of amenities like air conditioning and kettles, and a breakfast that is basic with limited hot options.

We stayed for one night, and it was far from enjoyable. Booking, check-in, parking space, and room – I'd give them 3 stars! The rest, unfortunately, was a disaster! The first-floor balcony was unpleasant, overgrown with bushes and thickets, no view, empty flower boxes, and a bit run-down. 😞 The house was very noisy, and the guests were incredibly loud at night, running in and out every two hours from 12:30 AM onwards, slamming doors, and stomping around. No consideration, no respect for other guests. 😠 At breakfast at 8:30 AM, there was only a very small selection of cold cuts and one tiny cup of coffee left, which wasn't refilled. Breakfast on Sundays is supposed to be until 10:00 AM! No staff in sight... We definitely won't be staying here again!
A very family-friendly and quiet atmosphere with a lovely balcony. Excellent value for money; I was very satisfied. They also immediately sent me a WhatsApp message with instructions. The stay was okay to mediocre, but I absolutely cannot recommend it. First of all, the door is locked with a code, but the device is so broken that you can barely read it. Furthermore, no one answers the phone when you call for help, even though check-in was supposed to be until 12:30 a.m. The room is okay, but there's no refrigerator and no room service, even for a three-day stay. Breakfast is far too expensive at €10 per person for the meager offering. They also tried to charge us again, even though we had already paid, because one colleague told us something different than another. The parking situation was also poor, as there were only four narrow covered spaces and two narrow outdoor parking spaces, leaving us with nowhere to park and forcing us to park on the street. All in all, the stay wasn't particularly pleasant; at least the rooms were clean and the train station was nearby.
Before checking in, I received a call from the owner informing me that my desired room was unavailable. I was given a different room and a discount after a brief conversation. Self-check-in was possible, but I didn't receive a receipt, which arrived later after a WhatsApp message. The room was... well, it existed. The door frame had been "repaired" with a slatted bed base. Consequently, the other side of the bed was unstable, so it wasn't a substitute for a sofa. Breakfast was okay, and the staff was friendly. Ultimately, it was usable. Personally, this was my experience, and I wouldn't want to repeat it.
