On planks around the Bärnsee. The DB will take us from Munich Central Station to Bernau am Chiemsee. There we will first hike through the town along the Mund-ART-Weg to the parish church of St. Laurentius with a view of the Chiemsee. The Hitzelsberger hiking trail then leads us southwest between meadows and farms. Along a boardwalk, we reach the idyllic Bärnsee (nature reserve – swimming is not possible). A small hill further on surprises us with a magnificent view of Hohenaschau Castle, the Kampenwand and the Chiemgau Alps. We then return partly on the same path to the train station in Bernau. Route: 13 km with 200 meters of altitude gain. Registration by Friday, September 25 at the latest at: lez-be-active@outlok.
