Laugar Spa

Be very careful the floors are very slippery and if you have difficulties in walking be prepared because there is quite a walking distance between the spa, the dressing room and where you get massages. Would recommend bringing some slippers that cam help with not slipping. The lockers need a lock on and it is possible to get one at the front desk. When I was there the robes were rather small and did not fit well. The food in the spa (you can buy small dishes and dish of the day) was excellent. The massage was very nice. There are several different saunas, a relaxing room, cold tub and a hot tub. Did not see an elevator to go to the floor (1 flight of stairs down) where the spa was. No handheld shower in the shower room.

This place is amazing, they scan your irises to open doors, like wicked futuristic… then they have a gym, where I was able to lift weights and after hitup the spa, there are many different saunas / steam rooms with different aromas, temperatures, and humidity levels… and a cold plunge, and hot tubs, and outdoor pool… also, like a restaurant in the spa! The chicken and soup was off the chain, and also all the girls working are super nice, I did 3 cold plunges and hitup saunas multiple times, bout to do another round before heading out, it’s mind blowing, nothing like I’ve ever experienced. The day cost was roughly $60 USD and $24 for the food, honestly seems like a wicked good deal considering overall experience / quality

Very nice spa experience in Reykjavík

Really reccomend couples massage and be early to enter the spa treat with 5000 saunas and the best Infared Sauna in Iceland. The ice cold plunge bath has sea water which is fantastic for your health.

Yesterday, we enjoyed a couples massage at Laugarspa, and it was unforgettable! Huge thanks to Cristofer and Caryn for 50 minutes of an amazing massage — my boyfriend and I were absolutely delighted. The receptionist was also very kind and welcoming, such a lovely woman!

Amazing experience for the price … I was confused and thought it cost 5200 ISK per person online … actually walking in to the gym I paid 7000 for 2 people . The pools outside were under construction but just the 5-6 saunas or steam rooms and cold pools and jacuzzi were amazing … and I got to saunas around the world . Very clean and technological …

I really liked it.

Very good spa, with lot’s of different saunas, resting place with fire place and restaurant. This is probably the best spa I have visited in Reykjavik. HOWEVER, I was disappointed when I didn’t find shampoos and conditioners in the washing rooms. You would expect from the spa that level to include those. Hope they will change it and I could go and enjoy their spa again.
