About this place Natura Spa

Natura Spa is a gay sauna located in Reykjavik, Iceland's vibrant capital city. As a dedicated LGBTQ+ venue, it provides a welcoming space for gay and queer travelers visiting the area. Saunas are a beloved part of Nordic culture, and this venue taps into that tradition while creating an inclusive atmosphere for the community. What to expect: Gay saunas typically offer various temperature rooms, relaxation areas, and social spaces where visitors can unwind and meet others in a comfortable environment. Whether you're looking to experience Icelandic sauna culture, enjoy some downtime during your travels, or connect with local and visiting members of the community, this type of venue provides a low-key alternative to nightlife venues. Most guests appreciate the opportunity to relax, socialize, and enjoy the wellness aspects of the sauna experience. Practical details: The venue is located at Nauthólsvegur 52 in the 102 postal code area of Reykjavik. For current opening hours, facilities, entry fees, and any specific policies, you'll want to check their website at naturaspa.is before your visit. As with any sauna, it's a good idea to bring a towel and arrive with realistic expectations about the pace and style of socializing that characterizes these spaces.

I just went there with my family and had a great time, the employees were very nice and the food was DELICIOUS! I 100% recommend it! The pool and hot tub were amazing and the blue lights in the pool made the water look magical. 4-7 a clock on week nights can be VERY relaxing.

Since we were guests at this hotel, we also wanted to visit the spa. HOWEVER, even as hotel guests you have to pay an entrance fee, admittedly less than someone from outside, but still very expensive for what's offered! A small pool with 41-degree water, a swimming pool, and three small saunas. There are only three loungers available; otherwise, there are club chairs that aren't comfortable at all.

I recommend Natura Spa, I have been to more places but this one stands out with its warmth and cleanliness and perfect relaxation. A 5 star spa as many people talk about

You are in for a very pleasant surprise, you hear a lot about the big spas in Iceland but this smaller one needs to be one of your go to places while you’re here. Beautifully designed with a great swimming pool and hot tub and a small sauna and definitely don’t forget the relaxation room. If you want a relaxing massage then you are in the right place, unlike the bigger spas in Iceland the staff listen to your needs and will bend over backwards to make your visit memorable. I have to mention the Manger Ella. She was amazing from the time me and my wife arrived, warm and friendly with great advice if you’re not sure about what beauty treatments you want. Everything is clean and professional the way everything is set out. And most importantly is the price, well worth it.
