GOSHH (Gender Orientation Sexual Health HIV)

GOSHH – Gender, Orientation, Sexual Health, HIV – is the Mid-West region's flagship LGBTQ+ and sexual-health charity, based at Redwood Place on Davis Street in Limerick city. It grew out of the Limerick AIDS Alliance (founded 1989), the Red Ribbon Project and the Gay Switchboard Limerick, merging and rebranding as GOSHH in 2014. The organisation offers peer support, one-to-one counselling, advocacy, rapid HIV testing and a range of youth and adult social groups for LGBTQ+ people across Limerick and the wider region. For many visitors and new residents it is the first point of contact for finding community, and it works closely with Limerick Pride each summer.
