IREOS - Centro Servizi Comunità Queer

IREOS is Florence's queer community and services centre, run by volunteers from Via de' Serragli in the Oltrarno. It offers a free, anonymous health and HIV-testing service, runs self-help and support groups, does school and cultural work, and organises the Florence Queer Festival. It is not a bar. For visitors it is the most useful single contact in Florence for information about community events, health services or support. Opening times vary by service, so check IREOS's own channels before turning up; the late-night hours in our listing look wrong for a community centre.
