What reviewers say

Visitors praise the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with many enjoying the feeling of freedom and the attractive staff. However, some feel the venue has lost its original appeal, noting that staff no longer participate in the naturist ethos and that the bar can sometimes be boring and not busy enough.

About this place Free Willie

Free Willie is a men-only naked bar at Amstel 178, at the edge of the Reguliersdwarsstraat and Amstel gay area. You undress at the entrance, leave everything at the cloakroom, and the rest works like a normal bar: drinks, music and conversation. It opened in December 2023 and has filled a gap in central Amsterdam, which had no dedicated naked bar for years. The tone is more social than sexual, though it is a men's space, so expect some flirting. Theme nights change the format, so check their socials before a first visit. Men only, 18 and over. Bring a little cash or a card for the cloakroom, and take your flip-flops if you prefer.
