Mad lover, marginal, and one whose desire overflows social norms: this is the Majnûn in Arab-Persian literatures. Iranian artist based in France since 2013, Sorour Darabi seeks to reinvent this figure through a dialogue between contemporary and medieval, European and Persian cultures, including queer. For this duo creation, he is on stage with Li-Yun Hu.
