Baltimore Pride
About This Event
Baltimore Pride traces back to a small 1975 rally at Charles Plaza, organized by what was then the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Baltimore. That group is now the Pride Center of Maryland, and it still runs the event.
It is a three-day weekend in mid-June. Friday is a block party in the Mount Vernon area, the gayborhood around the Washington Monument. Saturday is the parade, which in recent years has run along Charles Street in the North Avenue to 33rd Street stretch. The festival follows in Druid Hill Park, with a second park day on Sunday.
Practical notes: the parade is free to watch, Charles Street is the spot for it, and Druid Hill Park is a bit of a trek from Mount Vernon, so plan a ride between the two. Mount Vernon's bars are where the evenings end up.
The 2026 edition ran June 12 to 14 under the theme "Charm City Homecoming: Pride Lives Here", with the parade on Saturday, June 13. Local coverage described thousands of people but nobody published a count. The 2027 dates hadn't been announced when we checked.
