PFLAG Evanston

PFLAG Evanston is the local chapter of PFLAG National, the country's oldest and largest organization uniting LGBTQ+ people with their families, friends, and allies. Part of the PFLAG Council of Northern Illinois, the Evanston chapter provides peer support, education, and advocacy for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them throughout Evanston and the North Shore. The chapter holds regular meetings that offer a confidential, affirming space for parents, family members, and LGBTQ+ individuals to share experiences and find community. PFLAG Evanston also partners with Evanston Pride and Gender Affirming Evanston in the Queer Joy Consortium of Evanston, a local coalition that has produced collaborative celebrations of queer life in the city.
